Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Colby Stoltzfus returns to wrap up his career on the Yellow Jacket pitching staff following an outstanding junior season.....posted an impressive 7-0 record with a 2.40 earned run average.....made 13 appearances with five starts and two complete games.....notched the team’s only save.....struck out 39 batters in 45 innings pitched while opponents had a .225 batting average against him.....named to the All-NCCAA Midwest Region Team.....went all eight innings with a season-high eight strikeouts in a 5-3 win at Ohio Northern.....tossed the first seven innings and notched an 11-4 victory over Wilmington in the Third Annual Cedarville Classic at Dayton’s Fifth/Third Field.

2008 - Made eight starts in 10 appearances during sophomore year.....struck out six and allowed just two hits in a 9-1 win versus Grace.

2007 - Started all six games in which he appeared as a freshman.....credited with the victory in a 16-7 decision at Earlham.....allowed three earned runs on six hits in five innings with four strikeouts.

High School - Experienced a four-year baseball career at Kingsway Christian High School.....earned four letters.....three-year letter winner in both basketball and golf.....two-time OCAC All-Star on the hardwood.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Business management major at Cedarville University.....born 11/21/87 in Orrville, OH.....son of Ken and Sheila Stoltzfus.....has one younger brother and a younger sister.
