Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

David Convertini is back for his second and final season with the Yellow Jackets.....named Team MVP in 2009 after posting a team-leading .383 batting average.....All-NCCAA Midwest Region and All-AMC Second Team selection.....one of two players to play in all 60 games and started 59.....batted clean-up in every start.....set single-season school records for most total bases (103), hits (70), and doubles (16).....44 RBI’s rates third for a season.....registered 18 multi-hit games including seven three-hit efforts and a four-hit performance against Southeastern (Fla.).....tallied two or more RBI’s in a game 12 times.....hammered two homers and drove in five runs versus Indiana Wesleyan.....had a season-high eight-game hitting streak.....batted a team-high .429 with runners in scoring position.

2007-08 - Played two seasons at St. John Fisher College in New York.....batted .302 in two years with the Cardinals helping program to 53-27-1 record.....appeared in 32 games with 20 starts as a sophomore.....ranked sixth on the team with a .306 batting average.....recorded six doubles, a triple, a homer, 12 RBI’s, and 11 runs scored.....posted a .959 fielding percentage behind the plate.....hit .286 as a freshman in nine games which included two starts.

High School - Played five seasons of baseball with three letters at Williamsville East High School.....two-time all-conference recipient.....two-year letter winner in four seasons of basketball.....played four years of football with two letters.

Personal - Business management major at Cedarville University.....born 9/30/88 in Buffalo, NY.....son of Phil and Lisa Convertini.....has one older brother, an older sister, and a younger sister.
