Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Eli Weldy returns for his fourth year on the Yellow Jacket pitching staff.....only appearance as a junior was in relief vs. Findlay in the second game of the season, but was sidelined the remainder of the year with an injury.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2016 - Made four relief appearances as a sophomore before suffering a season-ending injury.....fanned six batters in six innings on the mound.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2015 - Made seven relief appearances as a freshman.....posted a 1-1 record with a 6.60 ERA.....pitched 15 innings total on the season and fanned 10 batters.....tossed five innings and allowed one earned run with five strikeouts to get the decision in an 8-6 victory against University of the Sciences.

High School - Four-year letter winner during his prep baseball career.....graduate of Barron Collier High School where he earned two letters.....played in the Senior All-Star Game.....previously a two-year letter recipient at Olympic Heights High School.....all-conference second team performer.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Sport business management major at Cedarville University.....born 11/19/95 in Clearwater, FL.....son of Ritch Weldy and Melissa Altman-Weldy.....has one younger brother.
