Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Jordan Ammon is a four-year starting pitcher with the Yellow Jackets.....made six starts as a junior with a 4-1 record and a 3.92 ERA.....missed the rest of the season with an injury.....averaged 8.1 strikeouts per 9 innings and allowed just nine doubles in 39 innings pitched.....fanned a career-high nine batters in victories over Oakland City (8-1) and Salem International (5-2).....struck out eight in his last appearance of the season - a 7-3 win at Kentucky Wesleyan.

2013 - Posted a 5-2 record with a 3.68 ERA as a junior.....made 13 appearances with 10 starts and a team-high three complete games.....tossed a complete game with six strikeouts to defeat Spring Arbor, 5-1, in the NCCAA Midwest Region championship game.....fanned a season-high seven batters against Victory and Urbana.....recorded 59 strikeouts in 66 innings pitched ranking second on the club in both categories.....opponents had a .242 batting average.

2012 - Assembled an outstanding rookie season by going 9-2 on the mound with a 3.06 ERA.....made a team-high 15 appearances with nine starts and two complete games.....ranked second on the club in wins (9) and innings pitched (67.2).....All-NCCAA Midwest Region selection.....allowed just one hit in six innings with a season-high six strikeouts in a 1-0 win over Southeastern at the NCCAA National Tournament.....won his first five collegiate decisions.....both of his setbacks were one-run decisions - 1-0 at Notre Dame (Ohio) and 3-2 at Spring Arbor in the NCCAA regional.

High School - Earned a letter in his only season of baseball at Fairfield High School.....named to the All-Greater Miami Conference First Team.....posted a 4-1 record with a 1.11 earned run average.....achieved three letters in four seasons of basketball.....three-year letter winner in four-year football career.....graduated with honors.....candidate for the U.S. Naval Academy.....All-GMC Academic Team selection seven times.
