Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Nate Wilson hopes to play a more significant role this season following an injury-riddled start to his collegiate career.....sat out the 2009 campaign.....appeared in just 11 games with three starts as a rookie in 2008 before heading to the sidelines.....batted .286 with four hits, two runs scored, a double, and two RBI’s.

High School - Produced a notable four-year career at nearby Beavercreek High School.....earned three letters with the Beavers as a second baseman.....All-Greater Western Ohio Conference First Team performer as a senior while posting a league-leading .500 batting average.....two-time All-GWOC Second Team recognition.....first three-time all-conference baseball player in school history.....hit .353 as a junior and .373 as a sophomore.

Personal - Dean’s List student as history and political science major at Cedarville University.....born 11/18/88 in Grand Rapids, MI.....son of Rev. Rick and Deb Wilson.....father is a former CU baseball player.....older brother, Micah, was a four-year catcher with the Yellow Jackets.....also has two younger twin sisters.
