Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Rob Wasem is back for his fourth season on the pitching staff.....lefthander will again be used primarily as a reliever.....appeared in seven games as a junior out of the bullpen.....posted a 2-0 record with a 2.45 earned run average.....notched both of his victories in Florida, 10-6 over Capital and 14-9 at Ave Maria.....fanned 11 batters in 14 2/3 innings.

2009 - Returned to the Yellow Jackets after sitting out the 2008 season.....led the staff with 17 appearances and 16 of those came in relief as a sophomore.....went 2-2 with a 6.75 ERA.....credited with both victories in relief of an American Mideast Conference doubleheader sweep of Rio Grande at home.

2007 - Posted a 2-3 record with a 4.76 ERA as a rookie.....appeared in 11 games with two starts.....nabbed his first collegiate victory with one inning of relief in a 6-3 decision over Concordia (Mich.).....worked the final two innings for the win during a 6-5 victory against Myers.

High School - Two-year letter winner in four years of baseball competition at Dover High School.....batted .345 as a senior with 15 runs batted in.....member of three East Central Ohio League championship and two regional title teams.....played four seasons of basketball with one letter.

Personal - Mechanical engineering major at Cedarville University.....born 9/27/87 in Columbus, OH.....son of Robert and Stephanie Wasem.....has one younger sister and a younger brother.
