Grant Zawadzki

Former Yellow Jacket Grant Zawadzki joins the Cedarville University coaching staff for the 2019-20 season.

His primary responsibility will be serving as the junior varsity coach. He will also be assisting Head Coach Pat Estepp in player development, scouting, recruiting, and film breakdown.

The Tipp City, Ohio native played two seasons for the Yellow Jackets after transferring from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Zawadzki started all 33 games at the point guard position as a senior in helping Cedarville win the NCCAA National Championship and finish with records of 21-12 overall and 14-6 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.

Zawadzki averaged 10.5 points, led the league with 6.3 assists per game, and was voted to the All-G-MAC Second Team. He set career highs of 34 points during a win over Saint Leo and 13 assists in a home victory against Davis & Elkins.

Zawadzki started all 60 games in his two-year Yellow Jacket career piling up 687 points, 286 assists, and 95 steals. His 208 assists and .885 free throw percentage as a senior both rank fifth, respectively, on CU’s single-season list.

Zawadzki is a 2019 graduate of Cedarville University with a degree in business management as well as a minor in biblical studies.
