Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Colton Linkous is a third-year guard for the Yellow Jackets.....appeared in 25 games with 14 starts as a sophomore.....ranked fourth on the team in scoring at 8.1 ppg.....second on the club with 46 three-pointers.....knocked down 22-of-26 free throws for 84.6 percent.....poured in a career-high 22 points at Kentucky Wesleyan.....scored in twin figures eight times.....matched his career-high of seven rebounds vs. Findlay.

2016-17 - Ended up receiving a medical hardship for the campaign.....played in the first two games before missing the remainder of the season.....tallied nine points in an 80-68 win over Maryville.

2015-16 - Played in all 29 games as a freshman with two starts.....averaged 5.9 points and 2.1 rebounds.....ranked second on the team with 40 three-point field goals.....scored in double figures four times.....hit seven treys for a season-high 21 points in a 67-65 upset at defending G-MAC champion Alderson Broaddus.....had 16 points in a win over Ohio Valley.....totaled 11 points with season-highs of seven rebounds and six assists in a victory at Salem International.

High School - Produced an outstanding career at Tri-Village High School.....guided the Patriots to a 30-0 record as a senior.....led team to the Ohio Division IV State Championship by hitting the game-winning shot in the final seconds.....Ohio Division IV Co-Player of the Year.....Southwest District IV and Cross County Conference Co-Player of the Year.....scored 1,387 career points.....averaged 20.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.2 assists his final year.....also competed in cross country.

Personal - Exercise science major at Cedarville University.....born 10/4/96 in Greenville, OH.....son of Randy Linkous and Christy Sarver.....father was a four-year player on the hardwood at Otterbein.....older sister, Kayla, played four years for the Lady Jackets totaling 1,313 points and 642 rebounds in her career.....has three younger brothers.
