Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Dan Llerena is a second-year infielder for the Yellow Jackets.....made 25 starts at second base in 33 games during his rookie season.....batted .256 with two home runs and 15 RBI’s.....registered five multi-hit games.....tallied three hits in games vs. Ohio Valley and Salem International.....drilled a three-run homer and drove in a season-high four runs in a 12-8 victory against Davis & Elkins.....G-MAC Freshmen Team.

High School - Four-year letter winner in baseball at Indian Rocks Christian High School.....batted .448 as a senior with two homers, 39 total hits, 17 RBI’s, and 34 runs scored.....named to the all-district team.....All-Pinellas County Second Team.....All-Tampa Bay honorable mention.....member of 2015 district championship squad.....played one season of football and one in basketball earning letters in both sports.....graduated with academic honors.

Personal - Youth ministry major at Cedarville University.....born 12/23/96 in Miami, FL.....son of Gio and Suzy Llerena.....father (baseball), mother (volleyball), and older sister, Ashley (volleyball), were all athletes at Clearwater Christian.....also has a younger brother.
