Biography

Grant Walker returns for his fourth season with the Yellow Jackets and serves as a team captain.....dependable in the backcourt with 29 games played and 19 starts.....averaged 6.7 points per game.....fired in a season-high 17 points in an 83-59 victory over Jamestown (N.D.) in the first round of the NAIA Division II National Tournament.....scored 16 points in a win against NAIA Division I Lindsey Wilson.....dished out a season-high seven assists in an 86-74 decision over Mount Vernon Nazarene.....made 35-of-40 free throws for an .875 accuracy.

2006-07 - Played in all 31 games as a sophomore and moved into a starting role for 17 contests.....averaged 5.0 points per game and handed out 55 assists.....scored in double figures six times.....drained eight three-pointers and scored a career-high 24 points at NAIA Division II No. 3 Point Park in the AMC Championship Game.....tallied 15 points in a win at NAIA Division I No. 9 Lindsey Wilson.

2005-06 - Walk-on player who participated on the junior varsity, was moved up to the varsity level, saw action in 23 games, and started the final seven.....scored a season-high 16 points against Spring Arbor in the NCCAA Midwest Region championship game.....hit game-winning three-pointer in 86-84 decision over Malone.....averaged 8.2 points in the final ten games of the season.....made 18-of-21 free throws for 85.7 percent.

High School - Earned three letters in four seasons of play at Franklin Central High School.....averaged eight points and four assists for the Class 4A Flashes.....team’s Mental Attitude Award recipient as a senior.....member of sectional championship team as a junior.....participated in track & field for three seasons with two letters.....Academic All-State.

Personal - Carries a biology major at Cedarville University.....served as the freshman class chaplain.....born 3/12/86 in Indianapolis, IN.....married wife, Brittany, who is a senior nursing major at CU, on July 12, 2008.....son of Rev. Gary and Sharon Walker.....has one older sister.
