Biography
Ricardo Alliman is undoubtedly one of the top returning players for the Yellow Jackets.....four-year starter, who will anchor down the post position.....played in every game during his career.....started 28 of 31 contests as a junior averaging 11.1 points and a team-high 8.8 rebounds.....paced the club with a .600 field goal accuracy.....selected to the American Mideast Conference Second Team and the All-NCCAA Midwest Region Second Team.....recorded 13 double-doubles.....opened the year with a career-high 24 points at Miami-Middletown.....tallied a career-high 15 rebounds against Ohio Christian.....piled up 23 points and 14 boards in a win over Daemen.....registered team-highs of 19 points and 12 rebounds versus Sioux Falls in the opening round of the NAIA Division II National Tournament.
2007-08 - Voted to the All-AMC South Division Third Team as a sophomore.....played in all 31 games with 16 starts.....averaged 9.5 points along with a team-high 8.2 rebounds per game which rated 5th in the league.....led the squad with a .562 accuracy from the field.....posted seven double-doubles including 15 points and a career-high 14 rebounds versus MidAmerica Nazarene in the NAIA Division II Sweet 16.....pumped in a season-high 20 points during a home win against Wilberforce.
2006-07 - Made a solid contribution during his rookie season.....named to the All-AMC South Division Freshmen Team.....appeared in all 31 games with 17 starts.....averaged 6.7 points and ranked second on the team with 7.0 rebounds per contest.....shot 60.5 percent from the field.....scored a season-high 16 points against Mayville State in the NAIA Division II quarterfinals.....had 14 points and 10 rebounds in a win versus Evangel in the national tournament first round.....pulled down a season-high 12 rebounds in a conference win over Rio Grande.
High School - Attended prep school in Florida during the 2005-06 academic year.....played two seasons of basketball at Calabar High School in his home country.....averaged 21 points, 17.2 rebounds, and four blocks per game as a senior.....named region and conference MVP.
Personal - Dean’s List student as an information systems major at Cedarville University.....born 2/18/87 in Kingston, Jamaica.....son of George and Beverly Alliman.....has an older brother and two younger sisters.
