Callie Murphy has been an assistant coach on the Lady Jacket volleyball staff since the 2019 season.
Murphy was a four-year setter at the University of West Alabama. She graduated third on the Tigers’ all-time list for assists (2,977) and sixth in service aces (119).
The Fenton, Michigan native was ranked among the NCAA Division II leaders in assists her senior season. She earned spots on the AVCA All-Academic Team and the Gulf South Conference Honor Roll.
Prior to coming to Cedarville, Murphy served in the sports information office at Saginaw Valley State University. She was also the Digital Media Content Creator for the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Murphy coached volleyball at a variety of national and regional levels for five years. Her last position was at Team Detroit in Michigan where she served as the head coach of the National 15-White team, was named a master trainer, and was the setting coordinator for the entire club.
Murphy is a 2017 graduate of West Alabama where she earned her bachelor’s degree in integrated marketing communications with an emphasis in sports media. She also served as the Tigers’ Coordinator for Athletic Digital Media.
