Cassadi Colbert is the new women’s volleyball assistant coach at Cedarville University and she began her role in January, 2025.
She joins the Lady Jackets and Head Coach Greg Smith’s staff after coaching one season at Warsaw Community High School in Indiana.
Colbert served as the freshman volleyball head coach as well as the varsity assistant coach. Additionally, she was an AAU head volleyball coach in Warsaw.
The Claypool, Indiana native was a five-year collegiate volleyball player. She began her career at Division I University of South Alabama for one season before transferring to Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana.
Colbert played in 102 matches with the Lancers piling up 734 kills with 75 blocks. She was voted to the 2022 All-Crossroads League Second Team and twice was honorable mention.
She was a member of the 2023 NCCAA National Championship team, was a three-time NCCAA Scholar-Athlete, and earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team.
Colbert also received the prestigious Quintillion Award in 2022. The honor is voted on by Grace College faculty members, who select a student excelling in the classroom as well as contributing to the college and community in positive ways.
Cassadi is a 2023 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Grace College with a degree in communications and is currently pursuing a master’s at the school in athletic administration.
