Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Emily Berger is back for her third season with the Lady Jacket volleyball program.....produced a third-best 306 kills while playing in all 39 matches last fall.....averaged 2.20 kills per game.....posted 36 blocks and 92 digs.....buried a career-high 23 kills in an AMC win against Walsh.....recorded double figures in kills on five other occasions......season-high eight digs came in a five-game match at Walsh ......earned American Mideast Conference South Division honorable mention.....named to the Grace Classic All-Tournament Team 

2006 - Appeared in all 55 matches and 179 games as an outside hitter.....registered a third-best 344 kills and 1.92 kills per game.....added 314 digs.....recorded a season-high 12 kills in American Mideast Conference South Division matches against Malone and Walsh..... posted double figures in kills in five other contests.....totalled a season-high 20 digs against Berry (GA).....named to the six-member All-AMC South Division Freshmen Team. 

High School - Produced an outstanding four-year volleyball career at Greenville High School.....led team to a co-championship title of the Mid-Miami League in 2005.....holds school record in career kills (687), career digs (682) and most kills in a season (306).....registered 43 service aces and 192 digs during senior season.....earned league Player of the Year honors after senior campaign.....Ohio District 9 All-Star First Team performer in ‘05.....two-time All-Darke County honors.....named District 9 Player of the Year in 2004 while earning All-GWOC First Team accolades.....three-year performer in track & field specializing in sprints and hurdles.....set GWOC league record in the 300 meter hurdles during her freshman campaign while also garnering All-League honors.... National Honor Society student....graduated Summa Cum Laude with honors.....four-time scholar-athlete. 

Personal - Exercise science major at Cedarville University.....born 5/30/87 in Greenville, OH.....daughter of Dr. Daniel and Jenifer Berger.....older sister, Sally, graduated from Anderson University (IN).
