Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Faith Ferris is in her final season with the Lady Jacket volleyball team....one of 10 players to appear in all 33 matches last fall.....contributed a sixth-best 90 kills.....ranked second on the squad with six solo blocks while adding a third-best 93 total blocks.....added 21 digs.....matched a career-high of six kills in the second contest of the year at Ferris State.....totaled a career-high eight blocks in a four-set Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) victory at Hillsdale.....registered five blocks on six occasions during the 2017 campaign.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2016 - Appeared in 17 of the 36 matches.....posted two kills in 3-0 sweeps over Culver-Stockton and Central State.....registered three block assists in the victory against Culver-Stockton at the Quincy Invitational.....Great Midwest Athletic Conference Academic Team.

2015 - Appeared in 22 matches and 58 sets as a rookie.....contributed 41 kills and 34 blocks.....registered a season-high six kills in an early-season match at Northern Michigan.....added five kills in a non-league contest at Malone.....recorded a season-high four blocks in two matches - versus Pitt-Johnstown and at Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) foe Ohio Valley.

High School - Participated in three sports at Delton Kellogg High School.....four-year volleyball letter winner and starter.....two-time all-region selection.....three-time all-conference and all-county performer.....four-time academic all-state honoree.....helped lead team to conference, district and regional titles and a third-place finish in the Michigan Class B state tournament in 2011.....named to the 2014 AAU All-America Team at the National Championship in Orlando, FL.....earned 2014 academic All-America recognition.....four-year letter winner in track & field.....two-time team captain.....Team Most Valuable Player.....also played one year of prep basketball.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a business marketing major at Cedarville University.....born 12/2/96 in Mount Pleasant, MI.....daughter of Rollie and Marie Ferris.....father played football and wrestled at Central Michigan.....younger brother, Tyden, is a freshman member of the football program at Central Michigan.....also has another younger brother.
