Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Sarah Simpson is in her third season with the CU Lady Jacket volleyball team.....appeared in 11 matches and 12 sets during the 2013 campaign.....recorded three kills, three blocks and four digs in limited playing time due to injury.

2012 - Appeared in 18 of the 38 matches.....recorded 22 kills and 22 blocks.....tallied a season-high four kills in an early-season win over Virginia Union at the Charleston Invitational.....posted a season-best six blocks in a four-set Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) verdict at Trevecca Nazarene.

High School - Graduated from Berks Catholic High School after previously attending High Point Baptist Academy and Reading Central Catholic High School.....earned a letter in volleyball at Berks Catholic.....member of division and county championship squad as well as a district runner-up finish.....all-district honoree as a senior.....participated in the all-district match.....led team in blocks with 86.....voted Most Improved Player by coaching staff for the 2011 season.....played with the Norlanco Volleyball Club.

Personal - Exercise science major at Cedarville University.....born 2/4/94 in Bloomington, IL.....daughter of Rev. Arthur and Debbie Simpson....father ran track at Western Michigan.....older brother, Adam, participated with the CU track & field squad in 2006.....also has an older sister.
