Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Cedarville Female Athlete of the Week (Aug. 29-Sept. 4) is cross country runner Alayna Ackley. The junior from Hart, Michigan helped lead CU to to a third-place finish at the Wright State Classic on Friday, Sept. 3. Ackley toured the 5K layout at the Fairborn Community Park in 18:11.4 to place 6th of 79 runners at the nine-team event. She edged out her freshman sister, Savannah, who finished in seventh with a time of 18:17.9.
