The Rapid Fired Pizza Male Athlete of the Week (October 10-16) is men's soccer player Andy Volk. The junior forward from Rockford, Illinois led the Yellow Jackets to a pair of impressive Great Midwest Athletic Conference victories. Volk produced the tying goal in a comeback 2-1 win at #21 Lake Erie College on Thursday, Oct. 14 in Painesville, Ohio. He poked in a rebound off the keeper in the 99th minute to give Cedarville a 1-0 win over Ashland on Saturday, Oct. 16 at Yellow Jacket Field.
