The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (Jan. 28-Feb. 3) is track & field distance runner Savannah Ackley. The junior from Hart. Michigan paced a 1-thru-4 Lady Jacket finish in the 3,000 meters in 9:57.46 to hit the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark at the Cedarville Collegiate Invite on Friday, Feb. 2. The Lady Jackets placed first of 16 schools at the event held in CU's Doden Field House.
