The female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Jan. 16-22) is track & field jump specialist Beth Jones. The 5-foot-8 freshman from Eaton, Colorado made her collegiate debut by winning the long jump and the high jump at the Otterbein Invitational to open the 2011 indoor season. Jones won the long jump with a leap of 17-feet 1.25-inches and her mark in the triple jump was 34-1.25. The Lady Jackets finished as the runner-up in the eight-team event on Saturday, Jan. 22 in Westerville, Ohio.
