Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Jan. 30-Feb. 5) is track & field performer Alexa Winik. The junior sprinter from Windsor, Ontario was part of two NAIA automatic qualifying marks with her efforts in a pair of meets hosted by the University of Findlay on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 4-5. Winik won the 400 meter dash in the Findlay Open with a time of 58.30 seconds. She was part of the distance medley relay squad during the Findlay Division II Challenge that posted a third-place finish in 12:35.69.
