The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Feb. 19-25) is basketball player Zimmy Nwogbo. The 6-foot-7 junior forward from Lithonia, Georgia led the Yellow Jackets to an important 78-72 win over Malone on Saturday, Feb. 25 in the Callan Athletic Center. Nwogbo scored 12 of CU's final 14 points in the victory that clinched the #1 seed in the Ohio Independent Championship. He finished the contest with 18 points, 11 rebounds and five blocked shots. Nwogbo produced a game-high 21 points in an 84-80 loss to visiting Central State on Tuesday, Feb. 21.
