The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Sept. 15-21) is cross country runner Matt Brooker. The senior from Spring Mills, Pennsylvania repeated as the individual champion at the 23rd Annual Friendship Invitational. Brooker covered the 8,000 meter layout of the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course in 24:58. The Yellow Jackets cruised to victory in the 11-team event on Saturday, Sept. 21 in Cedarville with 19 points - a 60-point cushion over runner-up Cumberlands KY.
