Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Jan. 5-11) is basketball performer Kayla Jenerette. The 5-4 senior guard from Greenville, South Carolina helped the Lady Jackets to a pair of victories last week. Jenerette poured in a season-high 26 points to go with seven assists in a 90-78 Great Midwest Athletic Conference victory over Ursuline on Thursday, Jan. 9 in University Heights, Ohio. She moved into the #11 spot on the Lady Jacket all-time scoring list. Jenerette paced four players in double figures with 16 points and six assists in an 87-57 non-conference verdict versus visiting Wilberforce on Saturday, Jan. 11.
