The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (April 20-26) is tennis player Maryssa Herbert. The junior from Milford, Michigan earned two points for the #2 seed Lady Jackets in their 5-3 setback to #1 seed Davis & Elkins at the G-MAC Women's Tennis Championship on Saturday, April 26. Herbert paired up with Kristen Heydt for an 8-3 win at #3 doubles then posted a 6-3, 6-1 victory at #5 singles in the event held at CU's Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex. She was also named to the All-G-MAC Second Team.
