The Courtyard Marriott Springfield Female Athlete of the Week (Nov. 24-30, 2019) is basketball player Ashlyn Huffman. The 5-foot-5 junior guard from Columbus, Indiana helped lead the Lady Jackets to a pair of wins over GLIAC opponents at Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio. Huffman tallied six points, six assists and four rebounds in a 59-57 victory over Saginaw Valley State on Tuesday, Nov. 26. She followed up with another solid effort of 12 points, eight assists and four rebounds as CU posted their sixth consecutive win - an 84-62 verdict against Northwood on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
