LIVONIA, Mich. - Alison Lemon scored a game-high 18 points and dished out eight assists as the NAIA Division II No. 18 Lady Jackets coasted to their fourth consecutive victory with an 84-54 rout at Madonna.
Cedarville netted the first six points of the non-conference contest and never looked back while improving to 7-2 overall. The difference was 20 points just 12 minutes in and it ballooned to 25 with 3:40 left.
It was 48-29 at the intermission with CU shooting 54 percent while holding the Crusaders to 29 percent. Madonna, 3-9, could only get as close as 16 in the second half.
Lemon buried five three-pointers while adding a steal and a blocked shot to her performance. Jenna Smith maneuvered for a career-high 17 points, Lydia Miller scored 15, and Aubrey Siemon produced a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds. [STATS]
