LAKE WALES, Fla. - Jenna Smith pumped in a career-high 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead NAIA Division II No. 18 Cedarville to a 77-70 win over Saint Francis (Ill.) at the Warner University Classic. The Lady Jackets upped their record to 8-2 overall with their fifth victory in a row.

Cedarville enjoyed a 36-24 halftime lead against the NAIA Division I Saints, who dropped to 5-8 with the setback. The Jackets inflated the margin to as much as 18 before USF made a spirited comeback getting as close as six in the final minutes before running out of time.

Aubrey Siemon aided Smith's inside work with 18 points while rookie guard Kara Cayton was 4-for-6 outside the arc for 12 points. Cedarville made 7-of-15 three-pointers as a team. Leading scorer Alison Lemon was limited to five points, but she handed out a game-high nine assists. [STATS]
