SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio - The NAIA Division II No. 9 Yellow Jackets held Windsor to just eight points over the final ten minutes resulting in a 77-54 victory at the Notre Dame College Holiday Classic.
Cedarville increased a 34-25 halftime lead to 16 points early in the second period before the Lancers got to within 53-46 with 9:45 left. The Jackets, 14-1 overall, came out of a timeout with 14 straight points over the next three minutes to roll to their sixth consecutive victory.
Chris Beals totaled 15 points and eight rebounds to pace the offense. Matt Harner had 11 points while Daniel Rose and Grant Walker added 10 points each. Ricardo Alliman pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds and Derrick Hannon passed out a game-high five assists.
Cedarville entered the game leading the country in field goal percentage defense at 36.6 percent while Windsor, who drops to 10-5, made 18-of-46 shots for 39.1 percent. The Jackets committed just five turnovers while forcing 17 in the contest. [STATS]
