CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Yellow Jackets squared their American Mideast Conference record with a convincing 5-0 win over Malone.

Joseph Mueller headed in a long cross from Jason Cunningham in the 23rd minute for his third goal of the season. Matt George made it 2-0 six minutes later when he dribbled through the Pioneer defense and ripped a shot into the upper corner.

James Twinem, Joe Potter, and Kyle Segebart added scores midway through the second period to account for the final. Cedarville, 3-6-1 overall and 2-2-1 AMC, held a commanding 25-4 advantage in shots overall with a 7-1 margin in shots on goal.

Kevin Bender needed to make just one save, but it was a leaping stop of a header in the final minutes to preserve his fourth shutout this fall and second straight. Malone drops to 2-7 and 1-4 AMC. [STATS]
