CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Ricardo Alliman exploded for 23 points and 14 rebounds as NAIA Division II No. 3 Cedarville defeated No. 17 Daemen, 81-67, in an American Mideast Conference battle played before 2,493 in the Callan Athletic Center.

The Yellow Jackets, 22-1 overall and 7-0 AMC, never trailed in registering their 14th consecutive victory. They outmuscled the Wildcats on the boards, 58-28, and held the visitors to 36.6 shooting from the field.

Brandon Sok's three-pointer just before the halftime buzzer gave Cedarville a 44-32 lead. A 17-4 streak midway through the second half ballooned the spread to 65-45 with 9:25 left.

However, Daemen rallied with ten straight points to get back in it. The Wildcats, 16-5 and 4-2 AMC, got as close as 74-67 at the 1:10 mark before CU scored the final seven points to close it out.

Chris Beals tallied 16 points while Daniel Rose came off the bench with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocks. Matt Harner added 10 points with a career-high 11 rebounds. [STATS]
