RIO GRANDE, Ohio - NAIA #7 Rio Grande had its way with Cedarville by dealing the Yellow Jackets a 6-0 setback in a non-conference game.

The RedStorm, winners of seven straight to improve to 10-2 overall, grabbed the momentum early. The hosts got goals in the 7th and 16th minutes for a 2-0 advantage at intermission.

Rio erased any thoughts of a CU rally early in the second period with three goals in a span of three minutes. The tallies came in the 53rd, 55th, and 56th minutes with the sixth marker coming later in the contest.

The stat sheet was dominated by the RedStorm. They finished with shot margins of 28-5 overall and 14-2 on goal. The Yellow Jackets fall to 7-3-3 on the season. [STATS]
