COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio Dominican took control early in the fifth set and eventually pulled away for a non-conference victory over Cedarville.

The host Panthers, a former member of the American Mideast Conference, won by scores of 25-19, 19-25, 25-22, 23-25, 15-6.

Emily Shade paced three Lady Jackets in double figures with 16 kills. Kylee Husak contributed 13 kills and five blocks while Lauren Gill came through with 11 kills and three blocks.

Additional net support came from Sarah Hartman with nine kills and five blocks. Justine Christiaanse turned aside a team-high seven blocks.

Erica Bartholomew had 49 assists and four service aces. Heather Kirkpatrick tallied a career-high 36 digs with Casey Hinzman adding 13. [STATS]
