D2CCA ALL-REGION TEAM
 
CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Lady Jacket senior Janae Heegaard has been voted to the 2025 D2CCA Volleyball All-Midwest Region Second Team.
 
The 6-foot-3 middle hitter from Sycamore, Illinois is one of seven players on the second unit.
 
Heegaard helped Cedarville to a 24-6 record and the G-MAC South Division title with a 14-1 mark.

She averaged 2.08 kills and a league-leading 1.20 blocks per set. Her .343 attack percentage rated third in the conference.
 
Heegaard is just the fourth Lady Jacket player to be named to the D2CCA All-Midwest Region Team and the first in four years.
 
The Conference Commissioner's Association awards are selected by the region sports information directors.
