CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville rallied for a five-set victory against Cincinnati Christian prior to dropping the next match with Urbana in the Callan Athletic Center.
Kylee Husak registered a double-double in the opener as the Lady Jackets outlasted Cincinnati Christian 20-25, 25-16, 20-25, 25-18, 18-16. She buried 16 kills and matched a career-high with 10 blocks.
Justine Christiaanse provided 10 kills with four blocks while Lauren Gill added 10 kills. Erica Bartholomew was good for 47 assists, Heather Kirkpatrick had 18 digs, and Casey Hinzman served up three aces. [STATS]
Urbana dropped the first set against CU and then recovered for a 21-25, 25-22, 31-29, 31-29. Husak pounded 21 kills with three blocks. Gill recorded a career-high 20 kills while Christiaanse added 11.
Kirkpatrick paced four players with 10 or more digs with a career-high 26. Bartholomew tallied 56 assists and three service aces for the Lady Jackets, 6-12 overall. [STATS]
