AURORA, Ill. - Lauren Gill paced a balanced attack with 12 kills to lead #15 seed Cedarville to a sweep of #12 Maryville (Mo.) in the first round of the GLVC/GLIAC Crossover Tournament at the Great Lakes Center.

The Lady Jackets won by scores of 25-22, 25-17, 25-15. The 30-team NCAA Division II event is hosted by the Great Lakes Valley Conference and the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Stephanie Rogers was the other player to hit double figures with 11 kills to go along with two blocks. Kylee Husak buried nine kills while Kassi Ernsberger added seven kills and two blocks.

Erica Bartholomew totaled 32 assists for Cedarville, 11-9 overall. Heather Kirkpatrick came up with 19 digs and Kara Yutzy had 12.
