OXFORD, Ohio - Carolyn Case automatically qualified for the NAIA Championship in the 1,500 meters and Tara Leaman broke her own school record in the hammer to pace the Lady Jackets in the RedHawk Invitational at Miami University.
Case placed 2nd in the 1,500 in 4:43.27. The performance earned her a spot in the NAIA meet next month.
Leaman needed only a week to surpass her own record in the hammer. She unloaded a toss of 169-feet 4.5-inches to finish 2nd.
