WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Cedarville won six events and cruised to the team title at the Otterbein Twilight.
The Jackets piled up 146 points to take first place in the 19-team meet. Ashland was the runner-up (100.83) and Mount Union was third (93.33).
All six individual victories came on the track. The list includes
Angela Williams in the 100 (12.23) and
Julie Tompkins in the 400 (57.86).
Audrianna Enns took first in the mile (5:06.67) and
Sydney Yoder won the 5,000 (17:48.85).
The remaining top finishes were
Rebekah Brinser in the 400 meter hurdles (1:02.09) and
Aubrey Hayes in the steeplechase (11.03.34).
Sophia Schneider was the runner-up in the pole vault with the sixth-best mark in program history at 12-09.50 (3.90 meters) which also met the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standard.
At the Virginia Challenge,
Summer Swartwout turned in a time of 24.35 seconds in the 200 meters – No. 8 on CU's Top 10.
Emily Walsh placed 15th in the 1,500 meters (4:30.75).
