ALL-ACADEMIC ATHLETES | WOMEN | MEN
CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Cedarville University's men's and women's track & field programs have achieved USTFCCCA Division II All-Academic recognition for the 13th consecutive year.
The awards are presented by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The Lady Jackets posted a 3.61 cumulative team grade point average while the Yellow Jacket men compiled a 3.47 GPA as All-Academic Teams.
Cedarville placed eight women on the USTFCCCA All-Academic Athletes list:
Sydney Diedrich,
Audrianna Enns,
Mallory Gasper,
Caroline Hamilton,
Aubrey Hayes,
Sophia Schneider,
Summer Swartwout, and
Emily Walsh.
The Yellow Jackets also had eight men's honorees including
Michael Braxton,
David Gerdin,
Jeremy Johnson,
Josh Paul,
Brandon Rogers,
Matt Schaeckenbach,
Caleb Sultan, and
Andrew Suter.
All-Academic Athletes include juniors, seniors, and graduate students with a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
Individuals must have also finished the season among the Top 50 in their respective event or Top 35 among relay teams, or at least participated in the indoor or outdoor national championship.
