MOBILE, Ala. - Olivet Nazarene and Palm Beach Atlantic defeated Cedarville on opening day at the NCCAA Championship being played at the Copeland-Cox Tennis Center.

Olivet Nazarene blanked the Lady Jackets, 5-0 in the first match of pool play. The Tigers swept the three doubles matches prior to registering singles wins at the #4 and #6 spots to close out the contest. [ONU RESULTS]

NCAA Division II Palm Beach Atlantic were 5-1 victors over Cedarville. The Lady Jackets' point came at #2 doubles when Georgiann McClure and Carissa Parmerlee hung on for a 9-8 win.

The Sailfish held a 2-1 edge after doubles. They clinched the outcome with victories at #1, #3, and #6 singles. [PBA RESULTS]
