MARION, Ind. - Cedarville began play at the Indiana Wesleyan Invitational with victories over Trinity International and Goshen.

The Lady Jackets opened with a 25-13, 25-27, 25-22, 25-20 win against TIU. Kylee Husak set the pace at the net with 14 kills and six blocks. Stephanie Rogers added nine kills and four blocks while Lauren Gill chipped in eight kills and three blocks.

Erica Bartholomew ran the court for 39 assists. Heather Kirkpatrick patrolled the back line for 25 digs. The Jackets had eight service aces as a team.

Cedarville improved to 6-3 overall with a sweep of Goshen. The winning scores for the Jackets were 25-20, 26-24, 25-20.

Gill led the attack with 11 kills. Husak tallied nine kills and three blocks with four more blocks coming from Rogers. Bartholomew totaled 36 assists and Kirkpatrick had 16 digs.
