CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville sent its volleyball fans home happy following three-set victories over Davis & Elkins and Urbana in a pair of Homecoming matches played in the Callan Athletic Center.
The Lady Jackets defeated Davis & Elkins for the second time in two weeks by scores of 25-23, 25-21, 25-19. They later disposed of Urbana 25-17, 25-18, 25-22 to push their overall record to 12-8.
Against D&E,
Amanda Bell powered 12 kills and
Stephanie Rogers added nine to pace a balanced attack.
Kelsey Christiansen and
Hannah Wagner chipped in six kills apiece.
Maddie Anderson was credited with 21 assists and
Erica Bartholomew had 10.
Heather Kirkpatrick totaled 13 digs and CU committed just one reception error as a team in 54 attempts.
Rogers pounded 12 kills and turned aside two blocks in the Urbana contest. Wagner contributed nine kills with two blocks and Bell had six kills.
Anderson and Bartholomew came up with 14 assists each.
Lauren Williams served up three aces and
Kara Yutzy had 12 digs.
