LYNDHURST, Ohio - Notre Dame College found the net late in the second overtime to secure a 2-1 victory over Cedarville.
The outcome spoiled a miraculous finish for the Lady Jackets, who appeared destined to go down 1-0 in regulation.
Arianna Pepper delivered a free kick from 40 yards out on the left side of the field that
Deanne Bradshaw headed inside the near post with just 15 seconds remaining to force overtime.
The tally was Bradshaw's team-high fourth goal of the season. It also ended CU's scoreless streak at 313 minutes.
The Falcons, 10-2 overall, got on the board midway through the first half. The two sides played on relative even terms until the game winner in the 106th minute.
NDC outshot Cedarville 16-12 overall and 7-5 in shots on goal.
Christine Faulds made five saves in goal for the Lady Jackets, 4-6-2.
