CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jackets regained the momentum with a big rally in the third set and then went on to edge Alderson-Broaddus, 3-1, in a tight match played in the Callan Athletic Center.

The winning numbers for the Lady Jackets were 25-23, 22-25, 25-22, 25-23.

The two squads traded close outcomes in the first two sets and the turning point came in the third. The visiting Battlers appeared to be in control with a 20-12 margin, but Cedarville finished with a 13-2 flurry to win it.

A close fourth set ensued. CU broke a 20-20 deadlock with three straight points and rode the wave to victory.

Amanda Bell led four players in double figures in the kills category with 13 for the Lady Jackets, 17-14 overall. Stephanie Rogers and Hannah Wagner pounded 12 each while Kelsey Christiansen added 10.

Rogers produced five blocks and Aubrey Siemon chipped in three. Maddie Anderson registered 24 assists, 14 digs, four service aces, and three blocks.

Erica Bartholomew had 22 assists and four aces. Heather Kirkpatrick came up with 22 digs and Bell contributed 14.

Alderson-Broaddus had its seven-match winning streak snapped. The Battlers drop to 16-15.
