CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville never trailed and six Yellow Jackets scored in double figures in a 106-87 win over Salem International in the Callan Athletic Center.
Brian Hecker scored all 16 of his points in the first half including CU's first 11. The Jackets sprinted to a 16-2 lead with the bulge growing to as much as 22 in the opening period.
The Jackets inflated the difference to 84-52 with 9:45 left. Salem buried all 11 of its three-pointers in the second half to close the gap to the 19-point final.

Daniel Hickman, and
Caleb Maxwell scored 14 points each.
Brian Grant scored 13 with a game-high nine rebounds,
Leighton Smith added 10 points, and
Zach Brown handed out eight assists. All 11 Yellow Jackets in uniform scored.
Cedarville shot 71 percent from the field in the second half and 56 percent for the game. The Jackets were 8-of-14 behind the arc, hit 36-of-45 free throws, and controlled the boards, 52-29.
The visiting Tigers drop to 0-4.
