LYNDHURST, Ohio - Top seed Notre Dame (Ohio) netted the only goal in the second half and came away with a 2-1 win over #4 Cedarville in the semifinals of the Ohio Independent Championship.

It was the second 2-1 setback this fall for CU on the Falcons' home turf. Notre Dame needed two overtimes for the win on Oct. 12.

The Falcons struck first in the 18th minute. The Lady Jackets answered in the 33rd when Morgan Ziegler lofted a shot from the top of the box over the keeper's head for her second score of the season.

Notre Dame, 11-3-1 overall, broke the deadlock with the winning tally in the 64th minute.

The Falcons finished with slight margins in shots overall, 9-6, and shots on goal, 6-4. The Jackets took all six corner kicks that were attempted in the match.

Keri Sachtleben made four saves in goal for Cedarville, 7-8-2.
