DAYTON, Tenn. - Cumberlands (Ky.) scored early in the second half and the goal stood up for a 1-0 decision over Cedarville at the Bryan College Classic.
The Patriots found the net in the 48th minute and went on to register their first win of the campaign in four tries. The Lady Jackets, 1-2-1, were shut out for the third time this season.
CU again had the advantage on the stat sheet, but failed to get on the scoreboard. The Jackets held the edge in shots overall, 16-9, and in shots on goal, 11-6. They even had more corner kicks with a 5-0 margin.
Keri Sachtleben went the distance in goal. She was credited with five saves in 90 minutes of action.
