CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Walsh remained unbeaten by scoring in the second minute of overtime to stun the Lady Jackets, 2-1.
The Cavaliers, 4-0 overall, entered the match having not allowed a goal in their three previous matches.
Cedarville surprised the visitors in the third minute when
Deanne Bradshaw picked off a clearing pass near the top of the box and lofted a shot high into the net for her first goal of the season.
Walsh squared the match in the 30th minute and it stayed 1-1 until the break.
The Jackets controlled the flow of play in the second period and had a 7-2 edge in shots. They also nearly got the winner in the final seconds of regulation.
CU outshot Walsh 13-9 overall and 8-4 in shots on goal. The Jackets drop to 1-4-1 on the season.
