RENSSELAER, Ind. - The Lady Jackets knocked off Indiana (Pa.) in their 2011 season opener at the Saint Joseph's Invitational before dropping a five-set decision to McKendree.

Cedarville defeated IUP 26-24, 25-19, 14-25, 25-18. Stephanie Rogers totaled 13 kills and eight blocks to lead the play at the net. Amanda Bell added 10 kills while Maddie Anderson had 21 assists and six service aces. Kara Yutzy came up with 21 digs.

McKendree rallied to take the Jackets in the second match of the day 18-25, 25-18, 22-25, 25-16, 16-14. Bell buried 16 kills while Rogers added 10 kills and five more blocks. Anderson passed out 22 assists.
