RENSSELAER, Ind. - Cedarville outlasted Michigan Tech and then lost to the host school to complete play at the Saint Joseph's Invitational with a 2-2 record.
The Jackets needed five sets to take down Michigan Tech 23-25, 25-19, 25-22, 23-25, 15-12.
Stephanie Rogers paced three players in double figures with 16 kills and three blocks.
Amanda Bell and
Hannah Wagner tallied 14 kills apiece.
Maddie Anderson handed out 36 assists,
Erica Bartholomew totaled 23 more, and
Lauren Williams served up three aces.
The host Pumas ended Cedarville's stay with a 25-16, 25-21, 25-27, 25-22 result. Rogers had 12 kills and seven blocks while Wagner added 11 kills.
The assist totals had Bartholomew with 19 and Anderson at 17.
Kara Yutzy recorded 23 digs.
Rogers and Williams earned spots on the 10-player all-tournament team.
